About Explora II

Explora II is the second ship of Explora Journeys, the MSC Group's luxury brand, and a sister of Explora I. Fincantieri completed her at Sestri Ponente in Genoa and delivered her on 12 September 2024, at a joint event that also marked milestones for Explora III and Explora IV. Rosalba Giugni, founder of the Marevivo Foundation, named her in Civitavecchia in September 2024, just before her maiden journey. She has 461 suites for 922 guests at double occupancy.
