Arrival is assigned per call. Ships with a berth dock at the Tourlos New Port cruise pier, about 2.5 km by road north of Mykonos Town; others anchor in the bay and tender passengers to the Old Port beside the town hall.
From the pier, the Mykonos SeaBus water taxi takes about 12 minutes to the Old Port; ship shuttles, KTEL buses and taxis also run. The road walk (30–35 minutes) has no proper pavement and is not recommended.
From the Old Port, Chora, Little Venice and the windmills are a short walk.

Tender landing beside the town hall, used when ships anchor in the bay. It is also the SeaBus town stop and the departure point for Delos boats.
Mykonos is a port of call; there is no cruise parking for passengers. Car parking near Mykonos Town is limited and heavily used in summer.
The SeaBus accepts wheelchairs and strollers; the town's lanes are cobbled and uneven.
Mykonos is the most expensive Greek island for eating out; waterfront and Little Venice tables cost more. Dinner range is for a mid-range meal with a drink and service.
Taverna lanes behind the waterfront, e.g. long-running Nikos Taverna, walkable from the Old Port and usually cheaper than waterfront tables.
Restaurants and bars over the sea below the windmills, such as Sea Satin Market; scenic but with a view premium.
Cafes and quick bites by the SeaBus and tender landing, including the popular Jimmy's Gyros counter.
Inland village tavernas at roughly half Mykonos Town prices; needs a bus or taxi, so best on a longer call.

A 30-minute boat trip (EUR 25 return) from the Old Port to the sacred island of Apollo, with the Terrace of the Lions, mosaic houses and a museum (site ticket EUR 20). The 10:00 boat returns at 13:30, so it suits a full-day call.
