About MSC Explora 5
MSC Explora 5, named Explora V by her line, is the fifth ship of Explora Journeys, the MSC Group's luxury brand, and is under construction by Fincantieri. Steel was cut at Sestri Ponente in Genoa on 14 July 2025, and her bow section was launched at Fincantieri's Palermo yard on 6 May 2026, to be completed at Sestri Ponente. Delivery is planned for 2027.
