About Azamara Onward
Azamara Onward is an R-class ship that Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire delivered to Renaissance Cruises on 28 July 1999 as R Three. After Renaissance collapsed in 2001 she was laid up in Tahiti, and in 2002 she was sold to P&O Princess Cruises and renamed Pacific Princess. Sycamore Partners bought her in 2021 as Azamara's fourth ship, and she was handed over in Civitavecchia that March. After a refit at Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam she was named Azamara Onward in Monte Carlo on 3 May 2022. She had a short dry dock in Cádiz in November 2024.
