About Balmoral

Balmoral was built by Meyer Werft at Papenburg and delivered in June 1988 as Crown Odyssey for Royal Cruise Line. She became Norwegian Crown for Norwegian Cruise Line in 1996 and later sailed for Orient Lines. In November 2007 Fred. Olsen had her lengthened with a 30 m midsection at Blohm+Voss in Hamburg, raising her to 43,537 GT, and renamed her Balmoral.
