About Tallinn

Tallinn, Estonia's capital, has one of Europe's best-preserved medieval old towns, a UNESCO-listed maze of cobbled lanes, merchant houses and church spires inside largely intact city walls. The lower town centres on Town Hall Square, while Toompea hill above holds the parliament, the onion-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and viewing platforms over the red rooftops.

Beyond the walls are the Baroque Kadriorg Palace and park, the Telliskivi creative quarter and the Seaplane Harbour maritime museum. The harbour is a short, flat walk from the Old Town, making it an easy port to explore independently.
