About Amera
Amera was delivered in 1988 as Royal Viking Sun for Royal Viking Line and kept that name after moving to Cunard in 1994. She became Seabourn Sun in 1999 and Holland America Line's Prinsendam in 2002. Phoenix Reisen bought her in 2018, and after HAL handed her over on 1 July 2019 she was renamed Amera and refitted at Blohm+Voss in Hamburg. The 39,051 GT ship was most recently refurbished in May 2026.
