Where is the George Town cruise port?

There is no cruise pier. Ships anchor in George Town Harbour and tender passengers about five minutes to one of three landings on Harbour Drive: Royal Watler (the main one), North Terminal and South Terminal.

The National Museum is about 5 minutes on foot, and shops, taxis and shuttles are at the landings.

In north-west winds, tendering can move to Spotts Dock on the south coast, about 10–15 minutes by road from George Town.

Terminal

Destination

About George Town

George Town is the capital of the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory in the western Caribbean, on the west coast of Grand Cayman.

The compact waterfront has duty-free shops, the National Museum and colonial-era buildings. Just north, Seven Mile Beach is lined with resorts, while the shallow North Sound is home to Stingray City. West Bay has the Cayman Turtle Centre and the black limestone of Hell.

Known for clear water, diving and snorkelling, it is one of the busiest cruise calls in the western Caribbean.

Climate
Tropical and warm all year (around 25–30 °C). Drier, breezier season roughly December to April; wetter, more humid May to November, with the Atlantic hurricane season from June to November. Winter north-west fronts can make George Town harbour too rough for tendering.
