About MS Fram
MS Fram is a polar expedition ship built by Fincantieri and delivered to Hurtigruten in April 2007 as its first purpose-built polar expedition vessel. In December 2007 she lost power near Browns Bluff, Antarctica, and drifted into ice, with no injuries. Now sailing for HX Expeditions, she was refurbished in 2022 and again in dry dock in Panama in April 2025.
