About Iona

Iona is P&O Cruises' first Excel-class ship, delivered by Meyer Werft at Bremerhaven on 9 October 2020 as the first of the line's two LNG-powered ships. Pandemic delays held back her maiden voyage from Southampton until 7 August 2021. The 184,089 GT, 344.5-metre ship has 2,614 cabins and a crew of 1,762, and had her first dry dock and refit in Rotterdam in October 2025.
