Where is the Roatan cruise port?

Roatan has two separate cruise ports on its south coast, and you re-board only where your ship docked.

The Port of Roatan Town Center is in Coxen Hole: you walk off the pier through a shopping plaza into town, and ships beyond berth capacity tender ashore. Carnival Corporation ships use Isla Tropicale (formerly Mahogany Bay) at Dixon Cove, about 20 minutes east by road, a self-contained complex with its own beach.

West Bay and West End need a taxi: about 20 minutes from Coxen Hole and 35 minutes from Isla Tropicale.

Getting to the Roatan cruise port

West Bay Beach → Port of Roatan Town Center (Coxen Hole)

Most independent passengers take a zone-fare taxi from the stand outside the Town Center gate via Flowers Bay Road and West Bay Road. Drivers often offer round trips where they wait and return you to the pier.

Typical prices, approximate. Fares change with demand, traffic and time of day.
