About Ambition
Ambition was built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire and delivered in June 1999 as Mistral, Festival Cruises' first newbuild. She later sailed as Grand Mistral for Iberocruceros from 2005, Costa neoRiviera for Costa Cruises from 2013 and AIDAmira for AIDA Cruises from 2019. Ambassador Cruise Line bought her in 2022 and renamed her Ambition, and she had a refit at Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven in April and May 2023.
