Where is the Capri cruise port?

Ships anchor off the north shore and tender passengers to Marina Grande, the island's busy main harbour shared with ferries and excursion boats. The funicular climbs to Capri Town's Piazzetta in about 5 minutes; minibuses and open-top taxis run to Capri Town and Anacapri. Boats to the Blue Grotto and around the island leave from the harbour.

Destination

About Capri

Capri rises steeply from the Bay of Naples, a limestone island of sheer cliffs, lemon groves and glamorous villages. The funicular climbs from the harbour at Marina Grande to Capri Town and its famous Piazzetta, from where lanes lead to the Gardens of Augustus and views of the Faraglioni sea stacks.

Higher up, quieter Anacapri has Villa San Michele and a chairlift to the summit of Monte Solaro. Boats circle the island and, when the sea allows, slip into the luminous Blue Grotto.

Climate
November on Capri is mild but wet and often windy: daytime highs ease from about 21°C to 17°C and lows from 16°C to 13°C, with roughly 100–110 mm of rain and the chance of a wet day rising from about a third to nearly 40%.
